Refund Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to fees paid directly to NexCoder Academy for its online or blended learning Programs. Where a specific written offer, cohort communication, order form, scholarship letter, financing arrangement, or legally required refund rule provides different terms, those specific terms will apply to the extent stated or required by applicable law.

2. Current Programs and Refund Window

The following framework is intended for NexCoder Academy’s current Practical AI Mastery and AI Bootcamp offerings. The “Program Start Date” means the date of the first scheduled live class/session for the relevant cohort.

3. Seat Reservation / Booking Amount

A seat reservation or booking amount may be collected to reserve a place in a cohort. The applicable amount will be shown or communicated before payment and, where stated, will be adjusted against the total Program fee.

Unless NexCoder Academy expressly states otherwise in writing before payment, a seat reservation/booking amount is non-refundable once the Learner’s seat has been confirmed and reserved, because cohort capacity is blocked for that Learner. If NexCoder Academy cancels the relevant cohort and the Learner does not accept an offered transfer to another cohort, the seat reservation/booking amount will be refunded.

For avoidance of doubt, the exact seat reservation amount applicable to a Program must be displayed on the checkout page, invoice, enrollment communication, or offer applicable at the time of payment.

4. When Refunds Will Not Be Provided

• A refund request is submitted after the applicable refund window has expired.
• The Learner stops attending, does not use recordings/materials, does not complete assignments, or otherwise chooses not to participate after the refund window.
• The Learner is dissatisfied after the applicable refund window has expired.
• Access is suspended or terminated due to fraud, payment abuse, serious misconduct, unauthorized sharing/resale of course access or materials, or a material breach of the Terms of Service.
• The payment relates to a third-party product, examination, certification, software subscription, financing charge, payment-gateway charge, tax, or other item expressly identified as non-refundable, except where refund is required by law.

5. Cohort Transfer / Deferral

Instead of a refund, NexCoder Academy may, at its discretion, permit a one-time transfer or deferral to another available cohort where the Learner has a genuine scheduling or personal constraint. A transfer/deferral is not an automatic entitlement and may be subject to seat availability, price differences, deadlines, and any written conditions communicated by NexCoder Academy.

6. Program Cancellation or Material Rescheduling by NexCoder Academy

If NexCoder Academy cancels a paid Program before it starts and does not provide an acceptable replacement cohort or equivalent delivery option, the Learner may request a refund of the amount paid for that Program. If a cohort is materially rescheduled, NexCoder Academy may first offer a transfer to another cohort; where no reasonable alternative is available, an appropriate refund will be considered based on the circumstances and applicable law.

7. Refund Request Process

To request a refund within the applicable period, email info@nexcoderacademy.com from the email address used for enrollment and include:

• Learner’s full name and registered email address/mobile number;
• Program and cohort name;
• Payment date, amount, transaction/reference ID, and invoice/receipt if available;
• Reason for the refund request; and
• Bank/payment details or supporting documents reasonably requested for verification and processing.

A refund request is treated as received when it reaches the above email address with sufficient information to identify the enrollment and payment. NexCoder Academy may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify the request.

8. Refund Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method where operationally possible. Where this is not possible, NexCoder Academy may process the refund to a verified bank account through NEFT/IMPS/RTGS or another appropriate method.

NexCoder Academy will aim to initiate an approved refund within 14 business days after receiving all information and documents reasonably required to process it. The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the Learner’s account may additionally depend on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or other payment service provider.

9. EMI, Financing and Third-Party Payment Providers

Where fees are paid through EMI, a lender, Buy Now Pay Later service, or another third-party financing/payment provider, any refund approved by NexCoder Academy will also be subject to that provider’s processing rules. Interest, processing fees, foreclosure charges, or other third-party charges may not be refundable by NexCoder Academy unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

10. Taxes and Payment Charges

Refund calculations will be handled in accordance with applicable tax and payment rules. Any statutory tax adjustment, payment-gateway fee, or third-party charge will be treated as required by law and the applicable provider terms. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable right available to a consumer under applicable law.

11. Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

If you believe you have been charged twice or an incorrect amount has been collected, contact us promptly with the transaction details. Verified duplicate or erroneous collections will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

12. Policy Changes

NexCoder Academy may update this Policy from time to time. The version applicable to a payment will generally be the version made available at the time of enrollment/payment, unless a change is required by law or is more favorable to the Learner. The latest version will be published on the NexCoder Academy website with an updated effective date.
